HIV Prevention for Black Women & Birthing People
HIV remains a major public health issue, even if it sometimes seems you don’t hear as much about it. In the three cities where New Voices for Reproductive Justice works (Cleveland, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh), more than 1,000 people were diagnosed with HIV in 2021. Among Black females between 20 and 44 years, HIV remains among the top 10 causes of death.
