From toxic hair care products to polluted air and water, New Voices is adamant that reproductive justice is directly and inextricably linked to Environmental Justice. We are dedicated to uplifting the work of Black women in the environmental justice space and addressing myriad environmental issues facing Black communities.
Awards
The Black Women, Green Future Awards Ceremony is an annual celebration of Black women, girls, femmes, and gender-expansive folx working in the environmental justice space either professionally or personally. Past honorees have included activists, CEOs, elected officials, and more.

Rooted & Amplified
Rooted & Amplified is our bi-monthly environmental justice series that hosts virtual interviews on the 3rd Thursday of the month. Conversations focus on a specific environmental justice topic in an educational and inclusive space. During each episode, participants learn about the environmental justice issues that impact our communities, and action steps to take to advocate on behalf of climate and environmental justice.
Steering Committee
The Black Women, Green Future Steering Committee is a group of dedicated Black women and femme environmental justice leaders who advise New Voices on the needs of our communities, as well as national and local policymaking and coalition building.
